Is it possible to set like an area on a screen that if you click inside that area it will run a macro? if not maybe put it on the wish list!

It is possible with a filter function. There is a template filter function FFT_Mouse_Is_In_Rectangle that does exactly what you need.
Assign mouse click trigger, click FF in Properties, click Copy, select FFT_Mouse_Is_In_Rectangle, OK, OK. It will add new function, named like FF_MacroName. Edit it.

Better use a toolbar for this.
