Timer in dialog

hey guys im new here because i've been having some problems in QM

i really would like to know how to put a count up timer in a dialog
one of my friends said u use REPLACERX and then apply that function as an event to a static in a dialog

idk exactly how to do this

can u guys tell me the code for a count up timer and how to get it in a dialog
