Can a WOL request be sent by QM to wake up PCs on a LAN
#1
Is it possible to send Wake on LAN commands with the NET command to wake up computers?

And what is the best way to shut them down with QM using NET?

I only found a few references to Wake on LAN in the archives.

many thanks

Or is it better to use QM in conjunction with something like PSexec?

No, net works only when that computer is running normally. Use a WOL program.

Don't know what is the best but you can try it.

To shut down, can also be used

shutdown 1 0 "computername"

, but your local user account must be member of Administrators group on the remote computer.
