OK 1 more thing, how could i get the original text from a webpage? For example go here and type in a random word and it shows other words inside that word.

www.magswordfinder.com

it will spit out a list like i pasted of words seperated by a commma.

Thanks.

I was just checking around the forum and came across this post....this could be used for storing comma separated data under on variable in a .ini file!

I have just started using rget and rset in .ini files and am really digging all that!

Ultimately I plan on writing a whole big program using quickmacros for my guitar shop. By the end I will have a POS, financial reports, and a calendar section that all interface together under one program! Sure would make my life easier!
Data storage and recall will be huge in all of this.

Basically, the whole idea of storing comma separated data into one variable would rock. I was hoping anyone could post good examples of using this with conjunction of rset and rget. Or if there are any other ways to store and recall data. The XML stuff looks neat, but I would need a lot of examples and explanation before I could start using that.

On another note, anyone with information on writing a scheduling(calendar) program should post it! I've been rolling around ideas in my head and just can't seem to get started.

Thanks.

if your looking for comma delimeted techniques go to my blog (link in sig) and look for a tag on 'gett' get token. that'll get you started.

TLDR...any generic code based examples?

The gett...does help quite a bit! Thanks for that.

I'd prefer XML. Not too hard to learn. Ini files have various limitations. You can ask more specific questions about it in a new topic.
