Supplying Cookies for GetHtml of Site
#1
Hi Gintaras,
Thanks again for all the super help recently.
Now for a different topic Big Grin
I am trying to get Source Code of website using HtmlDoc d.InitFromWeb.....d.GetHtml("body"), etc
but the html I get back says this (among other things)
Quote:<P class=note>Note: You must have cookies enabled in your web browser in order to authenticate using the PIN system.</P></DIV>

I have authorized access to the site and had already logged in to it on an IE browser .
I used the $Cookies$ to find the cookie for the site.
Now that I have this, is this something I could pass to the GetHtml function to make it work?

QM Internet functions use Windows/IE API functions. They manage cookies automatically.

Maybe some javascript does not work without IE.

I loaded the websites up in a QM Dialog browser (like simple dialog browser" from the resources archive) rather than a regular browser and then all QM Html functions worked appropriately (i.e. cookies recognized apppropriately). I geuss the cookies must be browser instance specific.
