I love playing music while playing games. The following code could be adapted to work with a variety of media players and games.
I chose the shortcut key: Windows+Q
I created and use the blank mp3 so my "real" music doesn't start playing until I'm actually in the game and playing away... :wink:
This macro work from an Explorer window or within Winamp's own Open file dialog or anywhere else you can browse files.

run "C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe" "E:\blank-30secs.mp3"
;Enqueue current selection in winamp. This could be one file, a group of files, playlist, etc..
;Shift+F10 is same as right-click. e for &Enqueue in Winamp option
