does QM use "schtasks" to create its Schedule Task function? If so, is there a way to add "LastDay"?

No, QM uses COM interfaces. Last day can be set in Advanced.

"Last day can be set in Advanced."
that's what i thought but if you set the day of the month to 31 the months with fewer days, the schedule wont execute at all for them. and there's not a choice for lastday in the advanced in xp pro. thanks though.

I have an idea. Create 3 schedules. In first schedule, set day 31 and select only months that have 31 days. In second 30-30. In third 28-february. One small problem - february has 29 days every 4 years. Ok, set fourth schedule with 29th day of february.
