Where the user-defined function should be placed?

if the function can be after the macro codes?
How to define a function? I read the Help for some time but fail to
find the correct method. I want to konw how to find the detailed instrution about
creating my own function. the instruction in help seems too abstract.

User-defined functions can be placed anywhere (except in System). In QM, user-defined functions are not included in macros. They are separate items that you can create using menu File -> New. If arguments needed, place something like this at the beginning: function arg1 arg2. Read more here:
