finding icon on default drive

is there any way to make qm find an icon for a toolbar if the defualt drive is unknown
meaning whether it's C,D,E,or F cause sometimes different computers use different drives.Or if the default folder like program files is different.i have noticed on some vista computers it can be programs or programs1.

i have figired how to do it if the folder is program files,but not sure what do do if it's not
