ifk for semicolon (;)
#1
Hi All,

I assigned a mouse button to send the ; key to the screen, which I use as a QM trigger. I probable shouldn't have put this "special" character in because now I want to test for it with ifk and can't find the right virtual keycode or other method for making the syntax work. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Stuart

Thanks Gintaras for replying. I am not sure I understand.
I am trying to test thesemicolon ;
not the colon :

Thanks again and sorry if I didn't understand your response if correct. :oops:

Isn't it the same key? It types ; normally, and : when with Shift.

The virtual key code is probably VK_OEM1.

It works!!!!!

The key trigger was actually coming from a buttoned assigned to ; on a logitech mouse. So I didn't realize that ; and : were the same thing to ifk.
It turns out that
Code:
Copy      Help
ifk :
works just fine, even if coming from a mouse-key assigned specifically to ;
Awesome.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stuart
