there are several ways to create hotkeys depending on your needs.

1. function/macro triggers
 
   

keyboard hooks
 
File->New->Templates->Hook->Hook_WH_KEYBOARD_LL

creates a template you can use to create the hotkey you need
there is examples on the forum and in the archive file
 can register hotkeys
