Shell menu triggers excluding lnk

I am wondering why shell menu triggers when - and only when - excluding shortcut files (ext. lnk) do not work, for example :

^Shell_menu "Send To - Mail Recipient" 0x4F "lnk" "$user profile$\My Documents\Local Settings\sysman\Ico\email-send.ICO"

lnk cannot be excluded because always gets shortcut target path, not shortcut path

Thanks for your prompt reply. However, let me mention that the following "positive" trigger with lnk it works perfectly :

^Shell_menu "SC Routines\Last Folder Modified" 0xC "lnk" "$user profile$\My Documents\Local Settings\sysman\Ico\FolderY.ICO"
