setting text

I was wondering if there were any other ways to set text or get text besides using strings..
For example

str r = "No"
r.setwintext(id(59648 "Wordpad"))

Hope someone can give me an answer and thansk for takign the time to read.

thats what id didnt no if there was another way of settign text. There may not be but i was curious. And thank you for the quick response.

There are several different ways of setting text of a window or other object. You can find them in the Text dialog. All they use variables or simple strings.
