Multiple Keyboards
#1
Newbie Here.

I did a search and found to my excitement that QM allows for multiple keyboards in which macro are specific to one keyboard and not the other.

But I cant seem to find a "help" to get me started on the process. Could someone point me in the right direction or offer up some advice?

The end product I am looking for it quite simple.

#1. Remap the Function keys and text keys on a keyboard.

#2. Limit the remapping to a specific keyboard.

#3. Find a way to do this such that I could hand the same keyboard over to another user along with the EXE file from QM and it would still work.

Any advice would be great as I am just now learning QM

Cheers

#3 is not possible.

Ouch. Thats too bad.

Is this because the keyboard detector would need to be running?

it has to do with the way the complied exe watches for triggers...ie it can't.
if your looking to setup the multiple keyboard thing in qm, there is a macro called "Keyboard Detector Help" that tells you all about it.
An old blog on QM coding and automation.
