I have searched the forum & found these [3 links] about assigning an OWNER WINDOW to a DIALOG when it is CALLED BY A TRIGGER=
None of them helped me, either very inexplanatory, or not what I'm looking for. I am pretty good with QM so it shouldn't take much explaining. Appreciate who replys & helps me out.

I need to assign an OWNER WINDOW HANDLE to a DIALOG this is what I have so far, & it is not working for me!:

Copy      Help
int h=win("Notepad" "")
str controls = "3"
str e3
if(!ShowDialog("" 0 0 h 0 0 0 0 408 140)) ret 1
;0 "" 0x90C80240 0x100 0 0 101 94 "Dialog"
;1 Button 0x54030001SCOTT32_CreationComplete 0x4 1 78 48 14 "OK"
;2 Button 0x54030000 0x4 51 78 48 14 "Cancel"
;3 Edit 0x54230844 0x20000 1 1 98 75 ""
;DIALOG EDITOR: "" 0x2030009 "" "" ""

When notepad window is active, I need the dialog to be assigned to it. I.E. when it is minimised, so is the Dialog. I also need to be able to move the dialog to a certain spot on the OWNWER WINDOW assigned , in this case: notepad. whilst staying in the same spot that it was moved to , when notepad window if moved. & being attached ect...
Also, when window is closed, (OWNER destroyed) close the dialog...

I have tried everything for the last hour, & getting quite irratated, help is appreciated! [Thanks In Advance] - Scottie

int h=win("Notepad" "")

Copy      Help
int h=win("" "Notepad")

and I think it will work for you.

there was an error in the post... i did have it int h=win("Notepad" "")

could you please test it out a couple times, & try to find a working one? doesn't seem to work.
strange...your first example is not working for me at least for the minimization part.

Not sure about the rest.

Sorry. Maybe the toolbar hook is the way to go for what you want... see one of the posts links in your original post

Thank you, works great!!!
