QM Zip file.
#1
Is there any way to create a QM executable that files could be included in that would prompt for a password...then list out the files that could be opened.

Anyway to add files to the executable after it was created?

This is just an idea that I had so I could manage files that are locked. I don't have any idea of how to do it.

Thanks,
jimmy Vig

With a zip program (eg 7-Zip), create password-protected zip file. Add it to exe, if need.

Use either a resource editor program, or Windows API functions, such as BeginUpdateResource (look in MSDN).

I would do it with 7-Zip Command Line Version.
