Portable QM
#1
I have a USB flash drive on which I have a lot of convenient files stored. There are a few programs (Portable FireFox, OpenOffice, etc) that allow you run them right off the flash drive without installing anything. It's great when you're troubleshooting someone's PC. Is there a way to do this with QM? Also, would this violate the license agreement if were never installed?
Thanks
Matt

Quick Macros supports this mode, and it is legal. You can run QM from a removable drive or from another computer without installing. That is, when QM is installed only on the removable drive or another computer. QM only leaves some garbage: My QM folder in My Documents, and registry settings in HKCU\Software\Gindi. It also leaves something that will prevent evaluating QM on that computer in the future ...
