Virus "Refusal of service" W32/VBFloodAR in quickm
#1
Hi Gintaras

When I logged onto the school server (Microsoft 2003 server) today I discovered that Norman had found "Refusal of service" W32/VBFloodAR in all instances of the Quickmacros installation file "quickmacros216.exe"

These are the original installation files that I have had saved on the server for almost 1 year. I have not touched them. It looks like this virus has searched specifically for all instances of "quickmacros216.exe" and attached itself to it. I have quarantened all of the files, but I don't have a clue what has really happened or how badly I am still affected, or how the virus was able to attach itself to all these files without being detected.

Has this happened before? Do you have any advice?

If you think these files are infected, download QM 2.1.6 again.

BTW, I googled for VBFloodAR and found only 5 results, in finland language.
